Platinum End Anime Reveals 9 More Cast

The official website for the television Platinum End manga revealed nine more cast on Sunday.

The cast include: (from left to right in top row, then middle row, then bottom row)

• Maaya Sakamoto as Mirai Kakehashi (child)
• Yū Sasahara as Akira, Mirai's younger brother
• Mai Nakahara as Mirai's mother
• Kenji Hamada as Mirai's father
• Yū Kobayashi as Mirai's aunt
• Fukushi Ochiai as Mirai's uncle
• Tomokazu Sugita as Tonma Rodriguez
• Takehito Koyasu as Luta
• Yūsaku Yara as the "Aged God"

The anime will premiere on October 7 on stream the anime this fall worldwide outside of Asia.

The previously announced cast include:

Yuu Miyashita will perform the ending theme song "Kōfuku-Ron" (Theory of Surrender).

Viz Media describes how the story begins:

As his classmates celebrate their middle school graduation, troubled Mirai is mired in darkness. But his battle is just beginning when he receives some salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle in which the winner becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a devil to survive.

Obata and Ohba (publishing the manga simultaneously in English digitally since the manga's launch. The company also publishes the manga in print.
