Chihayafuru Chūgakusei-hen Spinoff Manga Ends in November

Spinoff manga follows characters in their middle school years
This year's 21st issue of Chihayafuru Chūgakusei-hen (Chihayafuru Middle School Arc) manga will end in the next issue on November 1.
Yuki Suetsugu's Chihayafuru manga. The novels feature a series of stories detailing various characters' lives in middle school. (The original manga begins when they are in elementary school and skips to high school.)
Suetsugu launched the ongoing Chihayafuru manga in Kodansha's Be Love magazine in December 2007. Kodansha published the 39th compiled volume on August 9, and will publish the 40th volume on November 13. Da Vinci magazine releasing the manga digitally in English.
The manga has inspired two 25-episode television anime series and dub.
