Aniplex USA Licenses Persona 5 Anime

Atlus' Persona 5 game. The company also opened an English website for the anime, and lists streaming details as "coming soon."
Aniplex of America previously streamed an English-subtitled trailer for the anime on Wednesday.
The anime will premiere in April on the BS11 channels.
The voice cast from the game are reprising their roles for the anime:
- Jun Fukuyama as the protagonist Ren Amamiya
- Mamoru Miyano as Ryuji Sakamoto
- Ikue Ōtani as Morgana
- Nana Mizuki as Anne Takamaki
- Tomokazu Sugita as Yusuke Kitagawa
- Rina Satō as Makoto Niijima
- Aoi Yūki as Futaba Sakura
- Haruka Tomatsu as Haru Okumura
- Sōichirō Hoshi as Goro Akechi
Sket Dance) is in charge of the series scripts. Shōji Meguro is returning from the game to compose the anime's music.
The latest entry in the Persona role-playing game series shipped for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on September 15, 2016. The game shipped in North America on April 4, 2017 after a delay.
