2016 Danganronpa Stage Play Announces Additional Cast

The official website of Spike Chunsoft's Danganronpa visual novel adventure game, announced more cast for the play last Friday.
The new cast includes:
AKB48, returning from original play), Mizuki (THE HOOPERS), and Chinami Moriyama (triple cast) as Chihiro Fujisaki
Karen Iwata (AKB48), Matsuda Sakii (triple cast) as Yuta Asahina
Sayaka Kanda as Junko Enoshima (returning from original play)
The previously announced cast include:
Kanata Hongou as Makoto Naegi (returning from original play)
Rei Okamoto as Kyōko Kirigiri
Yūichi Nakamura as Byakuya Togami
Kanon Nanaki as Toko Fukawa
Shōhei Osada (double cast) as Yasuhiro Hagakure
Masaaki Amenomiya (double cast) as Hifumi Yamada
Reina Ikehata as Celestia Ludenberg
Yuya Miyashita as Leon Kuwata
Mitsu Mirata as Mondo Owada
Taishi Sugie as Kiyotaka Ishimaru
Shizuo Yamasaki as Sakura Ogami
The play is a rerun of the original 2014 stage play, which adapts the first game. It will run in Tokyo from June 16 to 26, in Nagoya on July 1 and 2, in Osaka from July 7 to 10, and in Kanagawa from July 14-16. Tatetsu Tashio is directing the play and writing the scripts, while the game series' original composer Masafumi Takada is composing the music for the play.
The first stage play debuted in October 2014, while the second stage play, Super Danganronpa 2 ~Sayonara Zetsubō Gakuen~ (Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Academy), debuted last December.
