New Ace Attorney Set in 19th Century With Ancestor Named Ryūnosuke

Dai Gyakuten Saiban -Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Bōken- set in Meiji-era Japan

This week's issue of Nintendo 3DS, Dai Gyakuten Saiban -Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Bōken- (Great Turnabout Trial: The Adventures of Ryūnosuke Naruhodō), will be set in the 19th century in Meiji-era Japan. It will feature Ryūnosuke Naruhodō, the "ancestor of a certain ionate, bluffing lawyer." He will have a familiar sense of ionate justice and he can pull through in a pinch.

Original Shu Takumi is participating in the game as the director, and he emphasized that while this game is not part of the numbered Ace Attorney series, it is also not a side story.

CAPCOM had announced during the live-streamed Nintendo Direct presentation in February that it is launching a new project in the Ace Attorney game franchise. However, the new game will be different from the previous Ace Attorney titles thus far.
