Star Wars screenings to add Ghost in the Shell: SAC director's ad with 009 skydiving for Nex bottle
Director Cyborg 009, that will debut on Friday. The ad will play for two weeks in stereoscopic 3D before screenings of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace 3D in 14 theaters in Japan.
In the first tongue-in-cheek ad "Acceleration Device," the cyborg hero Joe Shimamura ("009") receives an speed boost in the form of Pepsi Nex from Francoise Arnoul ("003"). In the second ad "Skydiving," Joe and Jet Link ("002" with jet-equipped legs) battle for a Pepsi Nex bottle plummeting through the skies.
Kamiyama is played in Japan last May before screenings of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Besides the previous Pepsi Nex ad, Kamiyama Panasonic.
