Hammer Session! Con Artist Manga Gets Live-Action Show

A live-action television series adaptation of TBS network this July. The manga follows a genius con artist named Yū who escapes from a prison transport vehicle during an accident. Yū goes into hiding and assumes the fake identity of Gorō Hachisuka, a junior high school instructor who specializes in a shocking form of teaching known as a "hammer session." The television version will change the junior high school setting into a high school one.

Hammer Session! ran in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2006 to 2009, and 11 book volumes have been compiled.
