DC Museum Starts Month-Long Tezuka Film Fest on Friday

Washington, D.C. will host a month-long anime film festival titled "Astro Boy episodes to kick off the series this Friday.
Other guests throughout the series include: The Art of Osamu Tezuka: God of Manga author Yoshihiro Shimizu.
The series will host the documentary The Film is Alive: Osamu Tezuka Filmography, which was originally made for the Osamu Tezuka exhibition at the Tokyo National Museum a year after his death.
The films and television series slated to be shown include: The Three-eyed One. There will also be a showcase of some of Tezuka's short films made between 1962 and 1987.
Seating for the films will available on a first-come, first-served basis. Auditorium doors will open approximately 30 minutes before each show.
