Evangelion director draws paper lamp with Eva 3.0 logo & Unit-02 for festival
Hideaki Anno drew on Sunday. The lamp appeared at the Bonbori Matsuri (Paper Lamp Festival) which is held every summer at the Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gū shrine in Kamakura south of Tokyo.
Heishi described the sketch on the lamp as "the world's earliest(?) revealed logo of Eva 3.0 and [Evangelion] Unit-02 by Anno." Heishi also Moyoco Anno drew for the festival.
2009's ended with a teaser for the third film. According to the teaser, the film will be called Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Q Quickening. The third film has no release date announced yet.
