Sanrio and Mattel to Release Hello Kitty Uno Card Game

Collaboration to commemorate card game's 40th anniversary
Sanrio is collaborating with the toy and game maker Hello Kitty game release in September in Japan.
Each numbered card in the deck features a depiction of Hello Kitty wearing different facial expressions. The deck will also feature a special card that allows players to switch all their cards with a neighbor.

Sanrio is currently franchise.
In the past, Sanrio has also collaborated with American rock band X Japan, and virtual diva Hatsune Miku in selling cross promotion merchandise.
