The Japanese entertainment news website Natalie My Hero Academia manga franchise (including the manga, novels, spinoffs) has 13 million copies in print.

The Twitter for the franchise had revealed in March 2017 that the manga franchise has 10 million copies in print.
The manga has inspired two television anime series. The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016, and the second 25-episode series premiered in April 2017. The third open this summer. The manga has also inspired several video games.
Horikoshi launched the superhero manga series in Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally in its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and in print.
