My Hero Academia Arcade Card Game Launches in April

This year's eighth issue of Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga will launch in arcades in Japan in April.
TAKARA TOMY A.R.T.S is developing the "hero card battle" game. In the game, players will be able to make three-person teams made up their favorite characters from the series. Players can collect hero cards and use them for battle. Each play on the game will cost 100 yen ($0.85). Confirmed playable characters include Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugō, and Ochako Uraraka. The game's official website also previews what the arcade cabinet and hero cards will look like:
The card game also has an accompanying smartphone app for Android and iOS devices that is available now.
Horikoshi's manga is also inspiring the My Hero Academia: Battle for All premiere in April.
