Psycho- XBox One Game Offered in English in Hong Kong

Psycho-: Mandatory Happiness (Psycho-: Sentaku Naki Kōfuku), its Xbox One game inspired by the anime Psycho-, in both English and Chinese in Hong Kong this fall.

The game shipped in Japan on May 28 for 7,800 yen ($65) for the regular edition, or for 9,800 yen ($82) for the limited edition. The limited edition included a Dive to Psycho- Psycho--ru Summer Disc Blu-ray with added footage of Tomomi Masaoka and Yayoi Kunizuka. People who pre-ordered the game also received a special decal skin for the Xbox One console and a Dive to Psycho- Psycho--ru Winter Disc Blu-ray. In addition, the game included voice samples by Takuma Tsurugi's lead Shinichirō Miki for use with the Xbox SmartGlass feature.

Psycho- takes place in the near future, when it is possible to instantaneously measure and quantify a person's state of mind and personality. This information is recorded and processed, and the term "Psycho->" in the anime's title refers to a standard used to measure an individual's being. The story centers around the "enforcement officer" Shinya Kōgami (Blood+, Tokyo Marble Chocolate) directed the series, Urobuchi wrote and edited the scripts, and Amano designed the characters.

The original anime premiered on release the film in theaters next year.
